San Fran-kiss-co: 5 Romantic Places to Smooch in SF

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, which means time for some kissin’! Kissing relieves stress, strengthens your connection with your partner, and even helps fight tartar build-up on your teeth (I’m pretty sure I read that somewhere). San Francisco is a pretty romantical place all around, but we’ve done some research, and found the most primo locations to get your V-day mack on. So get your chapstick ready, here are 5 Romantic Places to Smooch in SF.

1. The Golden Gate Bridge

Sure it’s a little cheesy, but it’s Valentine’s Day! The cheesiest day of them all! Grab your honey, elbow your way through the tourists, and get some gold level mouth love on in front of the Golden Gate. Take a selfie while you do it! Don’t roll you eyes, everyone does it, it’s cute.

2. Stow Lake in the Tunnel

If you’re a bird and they’re a bird, Notebook it up on a romantic boat ride on Stow Lake. The perfect place to kiss is when you’re in the tunnel, and can only faintly hear the echo of the cries of the lady who haunts the lake. A little fear ups the adrenaline, bringing you and your sweetie even closer!

3. The Kabuki Theater

Movie theaters are great places to kiss in the dark in public, just ask any 15 year old. Go to the Kabuki, buy tickets to a show that has been out for a while, so it won’t be too crowded (everyone’s seen Star Wars at this point right?), and make sure it’s for one of the 21+ shows so you can drink a little champs and not scar the young virgin eyes of any kiddies.

4. The Top of Bernal Hill

Twin Peaks is whatever, but Bernal Hill is the real make-out point. Hike to the top of this sexy summit and use those exercise endorphins to fuel a passionate lip lock with a great view of the city.

5. Sutro Baths at Sunset

Sutro Baths is one of, it not the most, romantic places in San Francisco. Close your eyes and lean in close to your lovers face as your hear the waves crash, feel the warmth of the sun as it sets in the distance* and try as hard as you can to not freak out a little bit imagining yourself falling in the murky bath water.
