SF Green Film Fest: Dr. Strangelove
Forget Superman and Batman, the real heroes on Earth are those actually fighting to save it, and having the decency to wear their underpants under their clothes. The San Francisco Green Film Festival, created by Rachel Caplan in 2011, is dedicated to screening films that not only capture environmental activism and social change, but also cause it, inspiring people to go out and join the Captain Planets all around them. In Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, you’ll enjoy Stanley Kubrick’s classic film about war, communism, and strange love.
