The Mountain Play “Grease”
Mountain Play is proud to present their performance of Grease. Named after the 1950s United States working-class youth subculture known as greasers, the musical is set in 1959 at fictional Rydell High School and follows ten working-class teenagers as they navigate the complexities of peer pressure, politics, personal core values, and love.
The Mountain Play provides one of the most unique cultural traditions combining theatre, music, and mountaintops and has more than a century of producing quality performance art. It’s not just theatre with attitude, we’ve got altitude as well.
