Owen’s real name is now Owen, it’s Mike Kinsella. You can do that when you are a singer/songwriter/performer, go by any name you want. If you wanted to be a singer you could change your name to Noodle and that would be totally fine. Art of nomenclature aside, Owen’s deep, some times dark, always moving, indie sounds are coming to your ears at Swedish America Hall. Does a Mike by any other any sounds as sweet?
