Now here’s a play that will hit home (literally) for all the SFers dealing with the struggle of paying rent and like, also being able to eat and stuff. Between Riverside and Crazy is Stephen Adly Guirgis’ new original dark comedy about a man desperately trying to keep his valuable rent-controlled apartment (I’d rather have a rent controlled apartment than arms) in New York City (the San Francisco of the East) all while battling his own inner demons. The quirky, hilarious characters in the play will have you so entertained you can forget for a second that you have to go back to the tiny in-law you share with your ex and their stupid ugly cat.
