Activating Our Alleys

Going to down a random alley in any big city generally isn’t that great of an idea. There could be danger, or worse, you could run into an ex and be trapped at a dead end forced to small talk pretend to care how their new job is. Activating Our Alleys wants to change that. They want to use SF’s often beautifully adorned alleyways as sites for performances, screenings, lectures, and more. It’s a chance to turn something dangerous into something beautiful, like in Holes when Sigourney Weaver uses rattlesnake venom as nail polish.
