Adan Jodorowsky

Born in France October 29, 1979, Adan Jodorowsky is the son of the renowned Chilean avant-garde film director Alejandro Jodorowsky (best known for his films The Holy Mountain, Santa Sangre, El Topo and more). Jodorowsky’s first guitar lessons were given to him by The Beatles guitarist George Harrison. When he was sixteen he joined the punk band The Hellboys. In 2011 he released his solo album Amador and won the UFI award for “Best International Artist Of The Year” and “Best Live Show.” Then he met Devendra Banhart , and together, they recorded the song “You are the one” and “Dime Cuándo.” In 2012 he produced the first platinum solo album of León Larregui (lead singer of Mexican band “Zoé”). In 2015 Adán Jodorowsky directed a video for his song “Would You Be Mine” with the porn actress Stoya, a sex fueled video that generated a strong positive reaction from the press. This 2017 marks the return of Adan as Adan Jodorowsky, leaving behind the Adanowsky moniquer and embracing his last name to the fullest.
