There Ain’t No Party like an Afrofunk Party.

If you want to jam out to some top-shelf afrobeat, you can’t do any better than Afrofunk.  This group sports an 8-piece band of guitars, bass, drums, percussion and horns, to produce a sound that is as layered as it is danceable.  They’re funkn’ it up, Bay Area style!  Joining them will be troubadour Peter Joseph Burtt, a World music mastermind who is sure to please.  It’s a mélange of music that needs to be heard to believed.  Come to this show only if you want to be blown away by sheer sound.
