Baio is Chris Baio. Chris Baio is the bass player for Vampire Weekend. He is also a cousin of some sort to Scott Baio. He is also seeking to establish an international reputation as a producer and DJ. His second album, “Man of the World,” is out, and the retro video (Charmingly crude? Goofy? Hyper-meta?) for the lead single, “Philosophy!” reminds us of the early days of VH-1 and the music therein could be described as Level 42 meets Robbie Williams with a dollop of “Let’s Dance”-era Bowie. Expect the unexpected.
