The works of three innovative composers from across history will combine in this feast for the ears and the eyes! Berkeley Symphony is proud to present Mystical, a performance celebrating the works of Giovanni Gabrieli, Sofia Gubaidulina, and Modest Mussorgsky. These creators lived in periods as diverse as their names, but their work has a common thread of visceral sights and sounds. This experience will be like traveling through time, but much less dangerous. Featuring a special solo bayan performance by Geir Draugsvoll.
