Bongo Love

You Haven’t Loved, Until You’ve Bongo Loved.

Bongo Love is the greatest bongo-based band to come out of Zimbabwe. Since 2001, they’ve been sharing their unique brand of “Afrocoustic” style to screaming fans around the world. They fuse guitar and traditional African acoustic instruments like mbira, marimba, and of course the aforementioned bongo (djembe to those in the know). It’s a sound that is as lively as it is tasty. If you’re in the mood for something rich, unique and full of Afrobeat, Bongo Love is for you. They’ll be getting down at the Ashkenaz Music and Dance Community Center.
