California Historical Society: Experiments in Environment
A Kaleidoscope of Art & Awareness. Not Too Shabby
Bonus Event – You can book this event even if you have another event booked.
During the summer of ’66, Lawrence and Anna Halprin, two pioneering American artists, did something amazing. Combining different artistic disciplines, they created workshops that presented new ways of looking at the environment. Using architecture, ecology, music, and so much more, their experiment became the stuff of legend. The California Historical Society will be showcasing this brand new history exhibit about the Halprin workshops to the public with an exclusive collection of photos, posters, flyers, newspapers, and other ephemera drawn exclusively from the collections of the California Historical Society.
You may attend this exhibit on your choice of either Saturday or Sunday, January 30-31, 2016.
