Have a dance dance revelation at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival! Established in 2010, the SFDFF was created to give the Bay Area a way to showcase and nourish dance based films. From dancing “birds” to an exploration of the arts and sciences, there’s a dance film for everyone during this festival. Whether you have two left feet or the arches of a prima ballerina, you’re sure to enjoy these captivating musical movement masterpieces. In this film, get a behind the scenes look at one of the world’s finest and oldest ballet companies, the Paris Opera Ballet, through the eyes of its retiring director Brigitte Lefèvre in My Mother Loved Dance (Ma Mère Adorait La Danse). Featuring the short films “Bridge,” “Eclipse,” and “Genêt.”
