Calafia Armada

Calafia Armada is a musical project brought together to tell the story of California and it’s first and only queen: Calafia. A new wind rustling the leaves of age-old trees, we tell a story of a time when Jaguars roamed amongst the Redwoods by playing a range of traditional rhythms and melodies from across the Americas including Jarocho, Puya, Rumba, and most of all CUMBIA.
