Anyone under the age of 30 is most certainly familiar with the wave of video game-inspired music that has swept over the indie scene (Anamanaguchi, anyone?). So it should come as no surprise then, that there is a classically trained duo bringing the budding genre to a new level. A/B Duo is comprised of Christopher G. Jones and Meerenai Shim. They use traditional world instruments paired with a Nintendo Gameboy to compose vivid and beautiful soundscapes. They will be performing for your pleasure at the Center for New Music. How fitting.
