Those of you familiar with the emo/New Wave scene of the early 2000s will remember Chris Staples early work with Twothirtyeight. Those of you too young for that just need to grow up already! Chris has worked with many bands over the years, expanding and evolving his personal style. His solo releases combine his soulful, deeply personal lyrics, with melodic, smooth acoustic sounds. His most recent album “American Soft” was funded through those plucky upstarts Kickstarter. That’s a victory for indie artists everywhere.
