“City Rising” San Francisco in 1915

A brand new history exhibit on the 100th anniversary of San Francisco’s 1915 World’s Fair.

City Rising at the California Historical Society is a brand new history exhibit chronicling a fascinating part of San Francisco’s history – the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition (PPIE).

Learn about how the fair helped the city rise from the ashes of the 1906 earthquake to become a world class city and help remake the city’s northern waterfront and Marina District.

Through vintage photographs, souvenirs, and other artifacts, visitors will journey inside the exposition to see what fairgoers encountered 100 years ago.

Your RushTix are good for entry to the museum on your choice of Saturday March 7th or Sunday March 8th.
