Duo Violão Brasil

Direct from Brazil, two fabulous Brazilian guitarists, accompanied by percussionist Ami Molinelli, from the Bay Area. Don’t miss this opportunity to see this incredible group of musicians now touring America. This album is a direct result of over 3 years of touring and performing together and the result of a generous grant from the San Francisco Arts Commissions IAC grant. Each track explores the rich and diverse repertoire that made up early choro music such as European waltzes, Tango Habanera, Maxixe, Lundu and more. The album spans over 160 years of music and will feature new arrangements and compositions as well.
