The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers were born after Will Wadsworth suffered a trifecta of bad things. A failed relationship, a band breakup, and a harrowing plane ride. Normally, most people run and hide after such terrors. Instead, Will gathered around friends to sing good ol’ Gospel songs. They dug deep and pulled out the classics; Washington Phillips, the Staple Singers, and others. This home-grown thing became a phenomena, as people started clamoring for performances. They saw the writing on the wall and started a band. Now they’ll grace the Chapel with their smooth vocals. Not bad for a breakup.
