Floating Features – Cinema on the Bay

The battery plug-in hybrid vessel Enhydra has been turned into a floating cinema, and Red and White is partnering with San Francisco’s historic, nonprofit cinema The Roxie to screen films for a limited time this fall. Imagine watching a movie out on the Bay with the bridges, skylines, and hills as the backdrop. The titles will range from new releases to cult classics, with a focus on the Bay Area.

Friday, October 18th: Beetlejuice. After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose “help” quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.
