Floating Features – Cinema on the Bay
The battery plug-in hybrid vessel Enhydra has been turned into a floating cinema, and Red and White is partnering with San Francisco’s historic, nonprofit cinema The Roxie to screen films for a limited time this fall. Imagine watching a movie out on the Bay with the bridges, skylines, and hills as the backdrop. The titles will range from new releases to cult classics, with a focus on the Bay Area.
Saturday, October 19: So I Married An Axe Murderer. Just after a bad breakup, Charlie MacKenzie (Mike Myers) falls for lovely butcher Harriet Michaels (Nancy Travis) and introduces her to his parents. But, as voracious consumers of sensational tabloids, his parents soon come to suspect that Harriet is actually a notorious serial killer — “Mrs. X” — wanted in connection with a string of bizarre honeymoon killings.
