Full Circle – The Journey of a Waterman

“Full Circle” is a documentary short film that follows World champion paddler and big wave surfer Jamie Mitchell as he pushes his limits as an athlete, father, and environmentalist. We see first hand his indispensable role as a leader in the surf community and in surfing life. We travel with him to remote regions of the world as he chases the elusive 100-foot wave, discovers sustainable fish farms and interviews water farmers and surfers along the way. A panel discussion on the process of making the film, the issues surrounding aquaculture and its misconceptions will be held with the filmmaker and executive producer will follow the viewing of the documentary short.
