How to Shrink Tenant Evictions

Proposition F, passed by San Francisco voters in June 2018, mandates city-funded legal representation for all tenants facing eviction. To fully implement the new Tenant Right to Counsel program by July 2019, the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) is partnering with 10 legal services organizations that will assist in preventing unlawful evictions and displacement.
