But equally as impressive was Miguel de Cervantes, a Spanish writer who contributed as much to his culture as Shakespeare did his. Both men lived in Europe during a vibrant and tumultuous time, when empires vied for land and power. They both managed to capture the energy of the era into works that have stood the test of time. Join Humanities West for their Friday night program, as they celebrate the genius of these men with a musical performance by Gallimaufry, their 20-voice chamber chorus.
