During the last day of The Great War: Cultural Reverberations Across Europe series, you’ll hear presentations by Adam Hochschild in The War Within the War, an exploration of international tension and conscientious objectors, Jennifer Shaw, in Postwar Art and Gender Dynamics, delving into the changing gender roles after WWI, a performance by Kabarett, a duo recreating the music of the Weimar Republic, and Saikat Majumdar in The Death of Romance, a discussion of the literary transition from romance to patriotism after the war, ending with a discussion and Q&A with the presenters, don’t worry, there won’t be a quiz.
