From Letterman to HBO to Punch Line, Local Comedy Hero Returns to San Francisco

Laugh at and with Jake Johannsen, a comedian from Iowa who won the 11th Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition, had his own HBO comedy special (This’ll Take About an Hour), was in the running to play George Costanza on Seinfeld, and favorite on the David Letterman show, at Punch Line Comedy Club. Johannsen made his comedy debut right here in San Francisco so it is only fitting that he return to this glorious city of hilarious people and exorbitant rent.
