Japan Film Festival: Black Widow Business

In Black Widow Business you’ll follow the story of a woman who exploits wealthy older men for her own gain. In the film our “black widow,” Sayoko, meets a man at a matchmaking event, they marry, he dies, and she brings the will to his two daughters to claim, what she feels, she is rightfully owed. Will she get her big pay day or have to catch another fly in her web? Find out at this screening.

About the Japan Film Festival:
The Japan Film Festival is hosted by the SUPERFROG Project, a non-profit organization with the goal of educating people all over about Japanese culture, and is part of the 2017 J-POP Summit. It’s the first fully dedicated festival to Japanese cinema featuring films that cover all genres.
