Japan Film Festival: Close-Knit
In Close-Knit you’ll enjoy a film about the life of a woman who transitions to male, and the loving household he provides his abandoned niece. It’s a movie about unconditional love and being your true, honest self in a world that won’t always accept you, and the people who will always accept you no matter what. Insert “aww” here. And don’t worry, there will be people knitting as the title suggests.
About the Japan Film Festival:
The Japan Film Festival is hosted by the SUPERFROG Project, a non-profit organization with the goal of educating people all over about Japanese culture, and is part of the 2017 J-POP Summit. It’s the first fully dedicated festival to Japanese cinema featuring films that cover all genres.
