Japan Film Festival: Flower & Sword
In Flower & Sword you’ll enjoy a film that replaces swords with flowers resulting in a peace that’s beautiful to look at, but terrorism on your allergies. Directed by Tetsuo Shinohara, this film follows a “flower monk” intent on saving his town with beauty instead of war. Featuring over 200 flower arrangements, Flower and Sword will entertain, as well as give you ideas for your garden.
About the Japan Film Festival:
The Japan Film Festival is hosted by the SUPERFROG Project, a non-profit organization with the goal of educating people all over about Japanese culture, and is part of the 2017 J-POP Summit. It’s the first fully dedicated festival to Japanese cinema featuring films that cover all genres.
