Japan Film Festival: My Dad and Mr. Ito
In My Dad and Mr. Ito you’ll enjoy the tale of how a woman’s life gets turned upside down by the appearance of her father at the care facility where she lives with her older boyfriend (20 years older), the titular Mr. Ito. Our main character, Aya, was living the life in her May-December romance until her father gets kicked out of his sons house and shows up, like a baby in a basket, on her doorstep. She what goes down, at this screening.
