Jesse Sykes

Spin Magazine called Jesse Sykes’ 2011 release, Marble Son, “a sprawling psych rock vision” and The New York Times has described her sound as “spellbound music, rapt in fatalism and sorrow.” I don’t know what that all means, but it’s some pretty good music. Singer-songwriter Jesse Sykes knows how to craft music that will tug at your heartstrings. It lingers with you long after the final note is strung. Check her and her crew out as they hit up The Chapel this month.
