Legendary Sonic Youth founder Lee Ranaldo has had a long and lustrous career plying his trademark sound around the world. After 30-some odd years of touring with the beloved group, a change was in order. He has crafted a unique acoustic album “Hurricane Sandy Transcriptions,” a solo work born out of, you guessed it, his time in New York in the aftermath of the storm.
