The story of the Mayhem Mansion sounds like something out of a black and white B-movie. Dr. Mayhem and his family were estranged from their contemporaries because of their bizarre behavior. Today we know they were afflicted by some strange trouble, but they’ve left behind a frightening legacy. This Halloween season you can tour their supposedly haunted manor. You will be guided through the historic 1886 Victorian Haas-Lilienthal House (recently renovated and not open to the public until November), ending at the Spookeasy, a cash bar hidden beneath the stairs! Will your neighborhood haunted house do that? Of course not.
