Created 8 years ago by Ruthe Stein and Jack Bair, The Mostly British Film Festival was created to show Bay Area audiences the very best in cinema from the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa (hence the “mostly” part), since a lot of American movie theaters only want to play Star Wars every day, at all times for months. Set in early 1920’s Ireland the film, “A Nightingale Falling” tells the tale of a solider taken in to the household of 2 sisters whose relationship quickly unravels into an stew of secrets, lie, and betrayal.
