Created 8 years ago by Ruthe Stein and Jack Bair, The Mostly British Film Festival was created to show Bay Area audiences the very best in cinema from the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa (hence the “mostly” part), since a lot of American movie theaters only want to play Star Wars every day, at all times for months. “The Lost Aviator” is a documentary about legendary aviator Bill Lancaster, who made a record-breaking flight between England and Australia in the 1920s.
