Native American Heritage Night
Native American Heritage Night emphasizes the rich cultures of the First Peoples. You can check out Poet Laureate of San Francisco, Kim Shuck (Cherokee, Fool, Jester, Poet, Artist) or an indigenous cultural presentation by Eddie Madril (Pascua Yaqui, dancer, singer, teacher, playwright, filmmaker). The evening is capped by a spirited native flute concert with songs by Rona Yellow Robe (Chippewa Cree, singer, flutist, two-time winner of the Native American Music Awards Flutist of the Year award), who, along with collaborator Bruce Witham on guitar, aims to “inspire, uplift, and fill the listener with peace, hope, happiness, and visions of joy, love, and prosperity.”
