NightLife Spotlight

NightLife celebrates the best of the Academy with an evening of after hours science inside the greenest museum on the planet, featuring our monthly tasting event, Adult Chemistry. This month, head outside to The Terrace Restaurant & Bar to learn about the science of bubbles while enjoying sparkling wines and effervescent bites. Inside, enjoy nighttime dive shows in our Philippine Coral Reef tank, and catch two special screenings of NightLife’s new art and music experience, Vortex 2.0, in the Morrison Planetarium. At the Project Lab, join the Greater Farallones Association, The Marine Mammal Center, Pacifica Beach Coalition, Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, Golden Gate Audubon Society, and Sustainable Surf to learn about why our state’s coastal ecosystem is so important, and the work and outreach they’re doing to take care of it and inspire environmental stewardship.
