Gold Star’s Marlon Rabenreither named his latest work “Big Blue” after his run-down Los Angeles home where the album was recorded. Laying down tracks in a fixer-upper seems appropriate for this DIY musician who proves home is where the music is. Just like a dilapidated house in need of some TLC, Rabenreither stripped his life down to the bare walls, added some color, and created an inviting space for his listeners.
