Popscene Presents: Kristin Kontrol

Those of you with a proclivity for indie music (i.e.: you got real cred), will know all about indie rock darlings, Dum Dum Girls. And you should be pretty excited to learn that their founder and lead singer, Kristin Kontrol has launched her own singer/songwriter work. After cutting albums for years with her band, she’s ventured on her own, releasing X-Communicate on Sub Pop Records. Hmm, judging from that title, I’m guessing she’s got a few stories to tell. You’ll be able to hear all about it, when you book your tickets to see her at the Rickshaw Stop.
