Popscene: VHS Collection

VHS Collection is a synth rock band from NYC formed in 2014 by three friends (Conor Cook, James Bohannon, and Nils Vanderlip) who have been making music in some for another since childhood. The band has gained a reputation for high energy live shows, having sold out Mercury Lounge several times in 2015. The band’s sound has been compared to Passion Pit, LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, Talking Heads, and Phoenix. “Lean,” the lead single off of their debut EP hit #8 on the Spotify US Viral Charts and #14 on the Spotify Global Viral Charts.
