Purnamasari + Pulama: Gamelan and Hula

Sometimes you need to get your world music freak on! That’s when you swing over to Ashkenaz Music and Dance Community Center when Purnamasari + Pulama perform some sweet Gamelan music and hula dancing. Purnamasari performs cross-cultural music featuring Indonesian Gamelan instruments and choreographed movements drawn from Balinese dance vocabulary. Pretty sweet am I right? Part of the proceeds from this concert will go toward the UC Gill Tract Community Farm.
