Southern rapper, Rittz (no, that’s not a typo) caught the attention of Tech N9ne (also not a typo) after releasing his 2011 mix tape “White Jesus.” The following year, he signed with Strange Music which led to his 2013 debut album, “The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant,” and an appearance on the BET Hip Hop (not a typo…nothing to do with bunnies) Awards. This year, Rittz—known to his hometown in Gwinnett County, GA, as Jonathan McCollum—brings his latest work “Last Call” to the rap-loving masses. Don’t let his white, suburban background fool you.
