Sal Calanni did what many smart comedians do to get ahead: move out of Cleveland. But seriously, for years he has been making a name for himself under the starry lights of San Francisco, appearing in clubs across the city and the country. He’s appeared on NBC’s “Trauma” and co-produced a film starring such talent as Maria Bamford, Arj Barker, and GWAR. He’ll also be making an appearance in a new Spike Lee joint.
