Forget Superman and Batman, the real heroes on Earth are those actually fighting to save it, and having the decency to wear their underpants under their clothes. The San Francisco Green Film Festival, created by Rachel Caplan in 2011, is dedicated to screening films that not only capture environmental activism and social change, but also cause it, inspiring people to go out and join the Captain Planets all around them. On opening night, enjoy How to Let Go of the World (and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change), a film with a message as important as it’s name is long, follows Oscar Nominated director Josh Fox, as he investigates climate change around the world.
