Sean Hayes

Musician Sean Hayes was born in New York City and raised in North Carolina. He resided in San Francisco for two decades before heading with his family to Petaluma just four years ago. Hayes has a distinctive voice (“growling purr?” Check! “Seductive vibrato? Check!) and a ridiculous ability to write and perform catchy folk-y/R&B-ish songs that have turned up in the background of HBO’s Bored to Death, NBC’s Parenthood, and a national Subaru commercial campaign. His latest collection of tunes, Low Light, documents his life since occupying the 707 area code.
