Getting Naked tells the story of current-day burlesque in New York City through the on and off-stage lives of several performers. Behind the curtain of the ever-entertaining world of burlesque dwell four performers who thrive under the spotlight. After finding a new identity in the beautiful society of sexy comedy and striptease in New York City, each delves into the liberations and hardships of a community where youth and talent are all that matter. Despite each woman being a talented artist, none are immune to disease or sexism in what should be one of the most progressive cities on Earth.
