The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival has been educating Goyim and Hebrews alike since 1980. It’s a celebration of all that is Jewish in the film community, from celebrated filmmakers, actors, screenwriters and beyond. Now they’re celebrating 35 years as a Bay Area institution that’s inspired Jewish film festivals around the world (to date, there’s over 150 worldwide, oy!). “Welcome To Leith” is a documentary with unparalleled access to a 2010 confrontation in North Dakota between activists and hate groups. After you see this film you should hug the first person you see, spread some love in a world too often hijacked by hate.
