SFSoundSalonSeries: People Making Sounds
Kinda Like Kindergarden Band Practice, But Cooler
The Center for New Music is much more than a catchy name. They’re one of the few places where you can witness the evolution of music, right before your eyes. And nothing is more evolutionary than People Making Sounds. Trombonist Weston Olencki and composer Charlie Sdraulig bring you a night of experimental sound magic. It will be loaded with performances featuring instruments, objects, gestures, and spandex (hopefully). Some of the Bay Area’s finest artists will be on tap, giving birth to unprecedented new kinds of music. The perfect event for the audiophile in you (not as dirty as it sounds).
