Showga: Everything is Medicine w/ Kendra McKinley

Showga is an event series focused on empowerment through the senses, incorporating yoga, live music, lights, aromatherapy, and visualization. Participants learn to work with each sense as a tool for wellness, stress reduction, increased performance, and creative flow. Each Showga experience is focused around a theme, which is explored via the 5 senses. Showga always features a live music performance from a range of genres, musicians and bands. Performers weave the given theme into their sets. The theme for these January Anchor Showga events is “Everything is Medicine”. We will learn to draw upon the support that is always around and within us. Medicine is anything that will help us, make us better, heal us, or bring balance back into our lives. There is medicine and great beauty in all aspects of our environment. We can use anything or any situation as an ally, or as support on the path toward growth and well being.
