Join Ashkenaz Music and Dance Community Center as they welcome Sly and Robbie, featuring Marcia Griffiths. Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare are responsible for much more music than is typically acknowledged. Without them, Jamaican popular music would have taken a very different course. These Rhythm Twins have set the world on fire with their work that fuses Jamaican sounds with their own stylistic voices. Through the years they’ve worked with a plethora of artists, while staying true to their roots. Be sure to experience them live and in person as they jam out in the Bay Area.
